Along the Silver Fork of the American earlier this year. Please let it rain and snow this winter!

Lovely capture ! The sunlight on the lilies sets them off beautifully against the dark rock and the nicely exposed waters. A slight nit would be the brightness in the URC but that hardly spoils what for me is a very fine, well composed image.

Nicely composed, Dave. Good job getting the tiger lily sharp and the water soft.

Very beautiful image! I love the flowing water and the lighting on the lilies.

I debated a bit on cropping the URC brightness, Ian. Your comment leads me to believe that it should probably be cropped which would have the added benefit of removing some very black areas that don't do much. Only took about a dozen takes to get one without movement, Scott. There's another water course to the right out of frame that was buffeting this plant pretty consistently.

The combination of the flowers in warm light and the falls in very cool shade is interesting. Just the same, I would desaturate as much blue as I could stand. I also would seek some more detail in the mid-ground rocks.

I sure like the look at this Lily showing off in it's environment. I agree that a slight crop from the top to remove the bright water would remove a distraction without changing the story that image tells.

This is great! Much better on the water flow than in the more recent post of the paintbrush. The lighting is dramatic and pops the lily.
