Paintbrush Falls

From the same waterfall as my recent Tiger Lily post, this paintbrush is on top of the rock 10 feet above the water instead of down in the mist. This shot was from 2013 and when I went back earlier this year there was just a stunted, dried-out version, not even worth photographing. :frown:

Canon T1i, f/25, 0.8 sec, ISO-100, 116mm, tripod, CPL.

Dave: I love paintbrush and I really like this comp and scene. The light is pretty darn good too. Well done.>=))>

A nice combination of elements in this photo. Great looking paintbrush. I like the light on the rock surface, but some of the whites in the falls looks a little hot, or soft, or both... Overall, nicely done.

Very fine image, D.A. ! I like the way the composition is layered with a variety of textures, and the perspective and light are perfect for setting off the flowers..

Dave - Great use of a intense colored paint brush flower as the foreground to anchor the shot. Looks pretty to me.
