Was up at dawn Tuesday morning exploring Great Sand Dunes NP. It was incredible to have a national park completely to myself for over 2 hours. This guy and a partner were the next folks to show up and start the trek to High Dune. I liked this shot with the lone hiker and that there were no footprints to spoil the image. All comments welcome.>=))>

Bill ...this is another picture that can go straight on the wall. I guess all elements placed right. I specially like the far end of the dunes which is of the same color ...fantastic work..

I really like this image. The composition is great, the color and lighting perfect and the hiker really adds some scale. Great work.

Very very cool! The hiker really gives you a sense of scale. Always a bonus when you have a beautiful place to yourself, I was there in late May and it was kind of a zoo. :toast:

Very nice, Bill. I like the uniform colors of the dunes all way into the bg, and the nice position of the lone hiker. :toast:

Bill, “Hang it on the wall” is also my thought. Very nice!

Excellent. The hiker provides a great sense of scale and changes the whole mood from what would have been a straight landscape. As said above, it is a great wall hanger.

Fabulous composition. The complete sand background works really well.

This image oozes with the sense of adventure Bill. I love how you placed the human in the frame. He or she is on a journey, and this can be taken to a deep level in the human nature. This makes a great wall hanger because it invokes thought in ones own life.

Awesome work

What can I say... well, this: :toast:

I like the fact that this includes no sky (is this another huge dune in the background?). Composition is excellent, and the human figure adds interest.
