Water Ways

Been kind of a rocky year for me so my participation has been sketchy (for which I apologize) My health took a bit of a tumble last fall and I've had to relocate to Arizona so I have very little new stuff to offer. I took this one in July at my favorite "headwaters" Thanks for looking.

Great colors and patterns in this abstract. Good handling of the light and contrast. Would have enjoyed seeing a large version as well.

Beautiful abstract, Nancy Lea, and different from your others. Looks like old fashioned ribbon candy. (I'm showing my age. :frown: ) Well done.

This is wild, Nancy Lea, lots of color in the leaves and a fine set of ripples across the frame. Is AZ permanent? Sure hope your health is better.

This reminds me of ribbon candy,,,,and time spent staring into rippling reflections in altered states of mind in a long ago time.

My first impression was stretched multi-colored taffy
The underwater grasses of various colors provide very good interest, great eye for the shot Nancy :toast:

Nancy, this is a colorful delight; a joyfully ambiguous abstract. It's great to see more from Headwaters again. (I have been away from NPN for months myself). You have once again made the most of a rare find. I am torn between heading for the brook and heading to the candy store to see if I can still get ribbon candy.

Change can be difficult, but I hope you find much to explore and new things to be thankful for.
