I found this doe at the Fort Worth Nature Center in the late afternoon sun. I liked the golden light and the good look at those spectacular eyes. Comments and critiques welcome.

Processed using Photoshop CS3, NeatImage and LightZone.

Jerry,
The colours in this certainly look different, but for me do not seem to reflect "golden light".
Why ISO 100?

Ken,

I try to shoot at ISO 100 whenever the light allows. Better image quality as you know. Also, I had AUTO ISO set to ensure the ISO would float to give me at least a 1/500s shutter speed because I was shooting in alternating shady woods and open sunny fields. As the light levels were good in this particular image the camera's AUTO ISO didn't come into play and the camera did its normal metering which resulted in an ISO of 100. Hope that answers your question.

Yes, a great look at beautiful eyes. I agree with Ken that somehow the warmth of golden light is not fully coming through leaving the overall image slightly flat. I don't know if that is something to do with contrast of just a bump in warmth, but I think with some processing tweaks this will come more alive.
