Photo of the Month 11/14

Heaven on Earth
This image is inspired by a photo that I saw once a couple of years ago from Ian Plant: floating fog, twilight, long exposure and the Swiss Jura. Not much later while scouting the Jura I discovered this location and I knew this was the perfect location for this idea. But it took me 5 more years to finally implement this idea!

This has an 'Other Worldly' feel that is excellent, your determination paid off and then some.

I'd agree about bringing the house's highlights down but not too much. To me it adds that spark of thinking "Wow...to live in such a magical place must be amazing." I look out my windows and see a parking lot, so its a sharp reminder to me that I need to spend more of my time with a better view. You just solved a dilemma for me about this coming winter. Less parking lots. More heaven.
I love having a vision of an image, and then having come to fruition. This image was completely worth the wait because it is awe inspiring work!!
I would sit back and enjoy a good glass of scotch to this fine capture!!
SWEET, capture. Enjoyed your write up to go along with this beautiful Image.
Great when you are inspired by others! Not a fan of Landscape recently with their over the top stuff, interfering with natural beauty.
but Really enjoy this
