What a fine combination of mountains and sky, Pat. The touches of color work very well and the bit of flat land at the bottom is a good addition.

Certainly a lot going on in the sky, Pat. Very intense and dramatic. My only very minor nit is the little bit of evergreen in the LLC. You might consider cloning it out.

Thanks you guys.

Good eye Scott. I thought it was a stream bed or wadi. I gotta get a bigger monitor. Cloning it out now.

Drama from on high. I really like the variety of colors. Has a neat painterly quality. :toast:

Just an epic image, Pat. Right place at the right time but you made it sing. Kudos and no nits from me. :toast:

Great light and textures, Pat. I think the composition would balance more if there was a bit more foreground. I really like the mood.

Hard to mistake this backdrop, Pat. This really has the theme of ringing in the winter up there. Nice to see just the tops of those trees along the Snake River poking in at the bottom here too. Gotta love that area for photography and just hiking around, wonderful image.

Beautiful dramatic sky and overall scene. I agree with Preston on more foreground, but what was there may have precluded that. Real nice regardless.

Pat: I think I do know what is in the FG and agree with your choice. The sky really complements the mountains and is indeed a harbinger of winter. Many kudos.>=))>

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate them.

The fg was cluttered with the tops of evergreens in the near fg. As it was I managed to let one in. (smile) Couldn't go any lower without picking up a forest of them. Even tight, I decided given the clouds and color, I liked it.

Oh wow, what more can I add? I agree with the descriptions of others: "epic," "spiritual."
Processing that such an awe-inspiring sight deserves.

Avery dramatic image. I like everything about it. If i had any nit it would be to crop off the very bottom edge, but that is very minor.

Pat I hear the spirit of the mountain calling out in this wonderful capture of the Tetons. I love everything about this image, and this is the kind of image that moves your entire being to the beauty of this world. I would print this one out large and enjoy everyday I have breath in this life.

I agree with everyone beautiful picture in all the aspects: colours and the composition with the mountain and the flat area in front of them. I like it.
