An early morning blush of pink through low clouds covers the Eureka Dunes area as a once-in-a-lifetime bloom of Eurekensis (Eureka Evening Primrose) graces the sands.

Canon T1i, f/22, 1/2 sec, ISO-100, 55mm, tripod.

Great combination of elements, Dave, with the primrose set against the dunes and mountain backdrop. Beautiful capture of Death Valley in bloom. :toast:

Beautiful view of the dunes and desert. There is a slight cyan cast I might reduce. I was disappointed that the larger image wasn't larger.

Dave: Still loving your flora landscapes. Love the main subjects and the mountains but I would crop the sky to 4:5 ratio as I think it takes up too much of the frame. >=))>
