Hi,

Nice and sharp and I like the water drop on the lip of the Oncidium. The dark background helps to pull that flower out from the stem......................Jim

This is beautiful. Love the yellow and red against the dark BG. Its personal ...would have also placed this in the center, and cloned away that yellow bud? Fine as is ..

You have very well represented this nice type of Oncidium. I didn't know that it can be planted in the garden here in Italy.

D&L: Marvelous subject superbly captured. I like where you placed it in the frame. I do think I would clone away the bud. >=))>

Thank you all for the kind comments.
Gigi: the plant is not always outside, only during spring and summer.
Balan and Bill: we didn't think to clone the bud; generally we don't clone parts of the subject, we always have the feeling that somethig remains visibile in the BG. Maybe it is because out technique is not very good.
Moreover we think that nature is wonderful as it is; nothing to correct.

We have one of these orchids as a house plant, D&L. They make for fascinating subjects. Ours is called "Dancing Ladies" and that name seems very appropriate. This is a great view. I like how you placed her as well as the added context from the bud and the section of stem.
