I agree they are all small. Gary, this is a lovely, peaceful look at these swans surrounded by all of the greens. I do wonder about some overall brightening (except for his wings).

I like it a lot, Gary, especially how the light colored swans jump from the dark background. In my view the tonal range is just right. And the wing reflections is gorgeous.

Gary, is this the little pond on the North side of the Richardson h'way somewhere near Robe lake? I remember a few years back stopping there, and there was a similar family group. Neat picture of Mom, Dad and their cygnets.

That's the ones, Phil. They have been coming back and making new swans every year. Unfortunately I don't know what will happen at the pond next year because the male swan was hit by a car when crossing the road to get to the river. They rushed it to Anchorage but it didn't survive. The female flew South with the cygnets and another adult (I assume it was a male) at the end of the season so maybe she'll be back with a new mate.
