Feather in the Leaves

Looks like my shooting Macro with a wide angle lens days are coming to an end. Been playing with my new lens in the studio and here is one of the results. Brought in a branch from an Oak Tree with fall color and added a tail feather from a black vulture and played around with the studio lighting and this version had a nice feel about it to me.

Neat view, Mike, with some great warm colors! I like the eye movement from lower left to upper right plus the details in the feather are outstanding. I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy that lens.

Mike, interesting subjects, nice color palette and excellent detail in the feather. My only minor nit is the OOF leaf in the lower left corner, I wish it took less room in the frame. That’s just personal taste, nice studio image.
