Great Sand Dunes NP

As I followed these guys up the dunes I noticed they would often swap places. Don't think they were racing but it piqued my curiosity. All comments welcome. >=))>

Another fine shot from your dunes trip, Bill. The hikers stand out well in the midst of all of the sweeping curves and warm brown tones of the dunes. The number of top notch images you got from this visit is amazing...speaks well to your skills and to the location.

Another beautiful sand dune photograph, Bill. For some reason I find the scale of the hikers to be exactly right - not too close, but close enough to see some detail. The delicate light on the dunes is marvelous! :smile:

Very nice capture, Bill! Without your tiny subjects it would be nearly impossible to estimate the scale of the scene. Graphically, the image is excellent with it's diagonal lines and varieties of shadows and textures but the two people put it all in perspective. Nicely seen and shot! :toast:

This reminds me of some photos I've seen from the Sahara, where travelers are dwarfed by the immensity of there surroundings. Another great shot from your very productive trip to the Great Sand Dunes NP. :toast:
