Sony A77
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 200, 1/125 @ f5.6

Chrissy planted these dahlias in the early spring and they bloomed OK but nothing special. They weathered the summer producing some pretty weak blooms but as soon as the temperatures started to moderate they have really come on strong. Took this a couple weeks ago but the plant is still loaded with flowers so I have some nice opportunities still. All comments welcome.>=))>

I love the silky feel this has. Beautiful complimentary colors, too. I always enjoy your crams. They're an inspiration to me.

Beautiful 'cram', wash of color, & the point of focus down front anchors the shot nicely
You've produced some brilliant images this past year my friend, hat's off to you Bill:jump:
Merry Christmas! :toast: :toast:

Howard: Thanks for the compliment; coming from you it means a lot. I have enjoyed this year. Merry Christmas to you.

A different kind of abstract for you, Bill, i think, and a really impressive piece of photography. The shift from the more solid forms in the fg to the soft, explosive surrounding shapes grabs the eye. A very strong image !!!
