Layers of Mead

Very nice layering and colors. This one has a painterly look to it, too. Very well done.

The layered colors here look great, Nancy Lea. You've got a good mix of warm colors set off nicely by the cool blues.

The alternating colors and textures do indeed suggest rhythm. Good job seeing this and bringing it out with telephoto compression. I think the red background hills are interesting too, but they sort of interrupt the rhythm of the lower part of the image. I wonder if this might be a stronger image if most of those background rocks were cropped out.

Nice scene, Nancy Lea. I like the color, the warm/cool layers, and the textures.

It could be just me, but the left and right edges look soft. Is anyone else seeing this? A large version would be helpful, Nancy Lea.

My very first instant response is too many aligned horizontals. But then my eye immediately goes to the top of the image with its lovely change in color and more oblique lines that make for a strong composition. Colors are gorgeous.
