Shadow Gull

I captured this gull with his head in the water. It made for a pretty interesting reflection. There is a rock that interferes with the reflection. It would have been better if it had not been there. I cloned out a portion of another gull on the right side. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Creative Cloud 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Jerry: very nice pose and reflection. My only suggestions would be to tone down the rock at the bottom of the frame or clone it away and consider taking down the whites a notch. Richard

The whites do appear a little hot and the rock in the foreground could be darkened (or cloned out) so it doesn't distract. Great behavior, I like seeing the eye and reflection is pleasing. :toast:

I like the dipping pose and the reflection is great Jerry. However, I do find the rocks behind the seagulls head especially to be a bit distracting.

Too many rocks! I would consider cloning out or cropping out the two oof rocks in the foreground. The water looks great and it is an interesting pose.
