I love the wide angle perspective - and the reflection of the moon is fantastic. Although I like the blue color very much, I wonder how it would look like with a more neutral color balance? It would probably send a very different message? Minor point: there is some halo around the mountain. Beautiful image!

Man, that looks cold. I like how the lead in mimics the shape of the mountain. The overall mood of the image with the blues is appealing and the moon is a nice addition too.

A beauty! It is a bit too blue for me though, I would probably use a warmer white balance or decrease saturation. But the crystals in the foreground are a great detail, and the moon looks fantastic. Most of the time a firts/last quarter moon in a landscape photo (meaning it will be overexposed) looks a bit weird to me due to the asymmetrical shape. But in this case the clouds have turned the moon into a misty oval shape, which is very nice!

All I can think of is how cold it must have been standing in that water taking images of this beautiful scene. How long were you in that position?!?
Beyond the beauty of the shot, I suppose that is one of the visceral reactions that you were looking to entice from the viewer. In that regard I have no issue at all with the blue color cast.
Minor nit would be that there is a bright white spot on the left side between the two streams, half way up, that I would clone out.

Very nice composition and interesting light, Kah Kit. I do think the cyan and blue could be brought down some. I also see the little white spot Dave mentioned. I like the lines of the stream and the ice.

Well, they don't get more moody than this, Kah. I really like the image, blue and all. The halos are a bit distracting, but it makes me shiver and remember the times my fingers wouldn't work because of the cold.

I can see that the blues/cyan might be a touch strong for some. I went back and forth a bit in the processing since at times it seemed too strong for me but eventually settled with what you see. I have difficulty sharpening small images on my retina MacBook Pro, the large version should have less haloing. Well spotted re: that bright speck; I hadn't noticed it previously.

Kah Kit, The large version is a real treat to view! I like the blue in this very much and how it adds to the cold feel / mood of the image. Wonderful composition. I see the bright white speck as well but other than that this looks great. Just wishing I had been there with you!

Hi Kah,
I tried sending you an email the other day from the link you have it NPN, but it failed going to your Hotmail account. Is their a better email address for you?
For the Image,
I love the mood you have captured with the blues, and the way the fg water and ice mimic the mountain is very engaging.
Wonderful work with this image

Moody and mysterious. I love it Kah Kit. I actually like the blues in this as I think it accentuates the feeling of cold. I have been going back and forth on the moon, but I think I would like it even more without it. Just my opinion of course.
