It never came
These two fine males were part of the so called "magnificent seven" a coalition of seven Males. Which if ever seen together certainly are not now.
They are now part of the Marsh Boys which specialise in hunting Hippos, this means they live in wet areas, something we found out to our cost whilst following them, we got stuck twice,

Absolutely stunning male lions you have captured here. To have two in front of you must have been a thrill. At 200mm, you were very close. I love the way they are both staring into the distance. The only thing that would have made this better is a little more light. Great capture nonetheless.

Regal looking lions. I like the distance between them and how they are both looking off into the distance, seemingly relaxed. The DOF is good too with the foreground grass in focus

Great poses n wonderful setting here!
I somehow feel that frame can be presented in a more precise manner by cropping some of the foreground and frame on the RHS.

Thanks everybody. :toast: :toast:
Jerry you can get remarkably close to most predators in a vehicle, generally they just ignore you, on foot is a different story but if you got this close they usually run away

Calm image of these big cats! I also like how you caught them looking off in the distance. Exposure is right on IMHO. Thanks for sharing.
