Maple Star Cluster

A cluster of Maple leaves along the Merced River in Yosemite. What actually drew me to frame this was the lovely reflection of the grasses and rocks, and the soft afternoon light on the shore.

Preston, This really does have a wonderfully quiet and peaceful feel that I quite enjoy. Your processing on this looks so natural that it makes one feel like you are right there...and that is a very good thing!

Those yellow leaves look like they are about to jump of my screen! They really look luminescent against the background, and they make this a wonderful photo.

Good evening Preston,

This image has a calming effect on my spirit, and I am truly enjoying all the varying elements of rock, grass, leave, water and color and how well they jive together. No suggestions I can think of to improve this beautiful image.

The scattered maple leaves are lovely, Preston. I like how they dominate the scene, but there's a lot of added interest from the subtle shapes and colors on the river bank and their reflections.
