Nice composition, smoothness to the water and lush green moss etc. Pleasant to view and explore. Another option would be to crop the fallen tree out and concentrate on just the creek.

I like Patricia's suggestion to focus a bit more on the creek as the dark areas up top don't do much for the image IMO. Like the SS and the very natural greens and yellows. There always seems to be a tendency to over-saturate the vegetation in these shots, even my own.

I really like this Tom. We have a creek close to home just like this, a place I have passed up, which this image greatly encourages me to go photograph (whew, what a sentence).
The colors in the leaf litter seem to be off from what I see when I'm down there. The orange/brown isn't quite this strong. Perhaps reducing the luminosity on these colors or saturation would help.
The water and the fern in the lower left corner really makes this image for me. I like how you've captured the essence of this type of environment.

A fine intimate scene, Tom. I like the softness of the water and how it contrasts with the sharpness and colors in the land. This speaks very well to quietly exploring a small creek, which is one of my favorite activities.
