Colors of the Past

Hello Folks,

Here is an image made today. The sun was up, however the side of the rock had a marginal shadow. The leaves looked nice, while I placed the right extreme leaf, the rest was already there.

7D, 50 Zeiss, 100 ISO, F16, 1/15

Thanks NPN for your support

No nits from me, Balan. The larger version is a must-see. I like the overall subdued light and darkness of the image. I could see a bit of a crop off of the left side to center the leaves further but personal taste on that for sure. :toast:

Really nice colors and comp. I like the position of the leaves against the texture of the rock. Very dark, moody feel, yet very minimalist. I might have lightened it a bit, but, it's fine as is.

I really like this. Great colors and simple composition, yet with fine texture and patterns.

Very moody feeling in this image. The leaves seem to be just a touched to centered. Maybe moving them to the left just a little.

Balan, this is a dark and moody image that works very well. The balance in the comp. is good and this works well as presented. Interestingly, I could see a slight crop from the left and bottom to move the leaves even more into the center...clearly a matter of personal taste.

I might suggest a tighter crop around the image. The subdued tones of the leaves and rock work very well together. Nice still life.
