I encountered this weird looking ice formation some time ago while making a hike.
ISO 100, f/14, 20s, 18mm.
C&C welcome, large version included.

Everyone has their own visions and you came back from a gray day with a very nice landscape. Only change I might make would be to crop out some of the sky. But each of us has our own tastes and sometimes a certain format is necessary for practical reasons.

Beautifully constructed image. Looks cold and quiet. I also like the long line of the far shoreline. Very nice.

A wonderful image, with something of an "alien planet" feel !!

I love weird ice formations and this is very nice. Lots to study in the foreground against a typical bleak winter's day. I very much like the framing against the water.
Maybe a little disconnect for me in the brightness on the left. My eyes follow the bright arrow in the shadows up and find the sun obscured so I might bring that and the top of those left rocks down.

Very nice tones and colors in this Roel and it creates a very nice mood. Very nice details in the large version. Very nicely done.

Very well done. Great detail in the foreground and the shiny rocks almost glow. Nice!

The large version is a must to really enjoy the details in this scene. I really like the mood and the ice formations on the rocks are gorgeous, Roel.

Neat view of these ice covered rocks, Roel. The wide expanse of flat water and fine gentle strip of sunrise/sunset color add lots of extra interest and a good sense of depth. I think the brighter section of sky at the top works well also, but could see cropping some, but not all of that.
