This is my second post from my mushroom walk in October. I came across a couple large colonies growing on stumps. The apparent elder in the group caught my eye.

Looks like you got the entire mushroom family, Steve, with Mr. and Mrs., and all the young-ins. I like the comp, perspective, and vivid color. I think I'd prefer Mrs. Mushroom (the large one in the front lower center) to be in focus. I find items like this which are front and center but oof are distracting, but it's a good shot of this mushroom cluster as is.

Neat find. I agree it might be better if all the mushrooms were in focus but its interesting the way it is. Must have been a fun walk

These mushrooms are way cool, Steve. That orange color really stands out and the details across the plane of focus are outstanding. I like the view from below of the cap in the center, but sure wish that oof shroom right below it wasn't there, maybe viewing from a different angle would avoid that.

Thank you everyone for your comments. Here is another version cropping out most of the oof mushroom. I tried cropping all of it out but I didn't care for the comp as much since it clipped several other members of the family.

The repost focuses very nicely on that one cap. The bit off oof cap at the bottom is fine.
