Enchanted Doorway

Years ago, I took this at Harper's Ferry and never digitized it. These are the ruins of an old church, if I recollect correctly at Harper's Ferry. The leaves were gorgeous against the bluish gray and maroon masonry. I think the "ethereal effect" of the doorway could lead us to another world.

I did use a painterly, sharpening effect, as the old scan just wasn't as sharp as I wanted it to be, so I put this in Photo Art. Hope you like it as POP Art

Can certainly understand what drew you to take this picture. Interesting subject highlighted by the brilliant yellow of the fall foliage. The design and textures in the wall add interest as well. In scrolling down I found that eliminating the upper branches also made a nice composition with the doorway having center stage.
