I shot this tree stump a while back. I decided to use an artistic sharpening program to enhance all the curls, swirls and colors in the bark. Hope you like it.

I can picture some sharp dragonflies or butterflies swirling around if you want a magical touch or an evil dragon or lizard if you want a Halloweenish feel. Wonderful stump with lots of character taken from an interesting perspective.

Very interesting fantastical creation! I see some animal forms as well like an eagle head. I like it a lot.
