We went to the zoo this week, and I got some nice photos of thee 3 lionesses. Here is one peeking over the rim of the plexiglass enclosure.

I was especially pleased, that the photos turned out so well through the old plexiglass. I had to work a bit to get the light and my polarizer just right.

Nice work, Lucy! I especially like the sunstar catchlight in the left eye. The triangular window frame troubles me. My solution would be to crop out about half of it, then balance out by a small crop on the right.

I really like the light and detail, especially her eyes. I agree with Philip's suggestion to crop.

I was really happy to see the eyeshine with star points! That wasn't from a program. I guess, I will crop the frame. I tried to paste one of my log photos into the picture, but couldn't get it to look natural. Can you believe I got such a clear shot through the old plexiglass enclosure! I didn't even have to clone out any nose prints (human or feline)

I decided to go with a more "peek-a-boo" look and cut out the metal bar entirely. What do you think?

Great expression! The window frame does not bother me. I prefer the original. The frame "explains" why the full face is not shown.

Hi Lucy,

I like your cropped version. Overall your technique captured the details quite well :wavey: ..........................Jim
