Twilight's Quiet
by Mark Seaver
A fall twilight looking across the marshes at Blackwater NWR was amazingly quiet, as the ducks and geese in the distance went quiet in their roosts, the breeze calmed, and only an occasional cricket or katydid chirped. As I explored my image files, I was hoping to find a peaceful view that was not taken at sunrise or sunset, but as you can see, that wasn't to be.
