Ah, TTW, the author of several books that I've enjoyed. This is a fine image, Kathy. I like how the tips of the shrubs are lit, leading my eyes to that fascinating rock formation who's red top contrasts well with the blue sky.

Well timed shot! Very nice how the plants are catching the light while the ground is still dark. And the lovely stone formations really finish the shot.

Beautiful photograph, Kathy. I think you've used the strong lighting to advantage, highlighting the red cliffs against the blue sky, with the sun-shade line bisecting the scene on a slight diagonal at the base of the ledge. The foreground plants do a nice job of helping to add depth to the whole scene.
