Young Ram

Back out in Cedar Canyon chasing Big Horns. This time I got into a herd of sheep. I had to work about 45 mins to get into a position so I could shoot some pics. There were at least a dozen rams of different sizes with one large one. I was there with them for about an hour. Really nice morning. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

The larger image is very nice, shows the young ram well. A good alert pose, with good color and details. Thanks for sharing.

Richard,
A perfect pose and the "inquisitive" look is wonderful, nothing further to add other than very well done :toast: :toast:

Very nice Richard. The rocks perfectly frame this young guy. Well done.

These rams will be getting used to you so you can really work the group, perhaps! This young ram is showing good sheep posture on that steep jumble, but the contrasty and busy nature of the top left is somewhat unfortunate. Although not necessarily wrong, the white balance feels unusually warm to me, so you might want to look at it dialed down a few degrees. The shadow suggests interesting possibilities for bright light presentations. Hmmm.
