Hong Kong harbour, an always colorful place with a great deal of activity from fireworks to laser displays. At the least ships and boats plying with varied and random purpose.

Nice juxtaposition of old and modern here. I would probably clone out that white boat.

Fine catch on the lighting here, Tom especially with the sailing ship in the foreground. The combo of late/early sun and a smattering of city lights is a favorite of mine.

Nice skyline, and the sky and boats really add to the scene. Nice light and processing.

Hey Tom,
Great view of the Hong Kong sky line across the harbour, by-the-way, Hong Kong means "Fragrant Harbour". I'm really enjoying the modern day version of the 'Chinese Junk' featured here which appears to being used as a sight seeing vessel.
The image is in need of some CW rotation.

Thanks Mike. The Aqua Luna cruises about the Harbour every evening for tourist and dinner cruises. Not sure they ever really use the sails! The rich colors of the boat always are complemented by soft evening light. Yes it does need a little horizon level, surprised I didn't notice that!

Cheers. Tom

Tom,
Your travels work to our benefit as we are seeing wonderful shots of places we may never see ourselves. I particularly like the color of the boat, the reflected low light on the buildings and the illuminated signs. It captures a lot. (I agree with Mark and wonder if cloning the white boat would improve an already stunning image.) :toast: :toast:
