Found this family group poing outside their hose, they were all staring at a Yellow Billed Kite in a nearby tree.
Taken at Tarahgire National Park, Tanzania.

Really cute shot with a very nice background. I like the fact that the one little guy didn't get the memo to stare at the bird (smile). I might try to darken the rock a bit, but other than that, no nits.

From your techs, looks like you have the new Canon 100-400 Mk II. What do you think of it?

Good family group. I like the detail in their coats and the alert looks on most of them. But why dormice? Thanks for sharing.

Love the lighting and how all of these little mongeese (??) are looking the same direction - aside from the little one biting its family member. Well seen. The only thing I don't care for is the one that is facing the other direction. It blends in at first - but if you look at the image for a while you see it and it is a bit distracting

I also like the contrast with the little one who is clueless about what is going on - cute!!

What a crew. I like how you captured the attention they are giving the kite. Composition is ideal and I like the rock as is :toast: ....................Jim

Pretty sweet, Ken--a great image all-around. Beautiful light, great poses, lots of interest (I also like the one mongoose breaking the trend) and beautiful background tones. Can't offer much for improvement here.

Beautiful frame, pretty high on cuteness scale, love the curiosity they are displaying.
May tone down the bright rock.
Ken, I would be very keen to know any feedback from your side on 100-400 IS2 lens.

Jagdeep,
I have not used this lens much, but when I have it seems the perfect partner for the 7d

The little one gazing back to our right is a nice accent...and I never noticed the one on the extreme right until the third or fourth view! Techs look very nice. The one suggestion that might make a slight enhancement, IMO, is to experiment with toning down brightness of the mound itself.
