Another fox shot - this time I took off the TC and had some snow falling.

Nikon D7100 300mm f4
f/8
1/400s
ISO 640

Full Frame, minor adjustments

Hi Luke, love the composition on this, body posture and tail all have worked together, with a nice alert pose too. The snow falling just adds to the overall scene. It does look a tad flat, but it could be just the overcast conditions, but a slight tweak in Levels I think may just add a hint more back in?

Steve - thanks for the comment. I actually played around quite a bit with levels and contrast and saturation - the RAW image is VERY flat. I wanted to keep the overall gloomy feel to match the snow

Great pose and the mid-air snow is a good touch. I think you did a good job processing, but cold and snowy doesn't have to translate as gloomy for such a fine subject. My suggestion is to experiment a little with selective processing in bringing just the whites up somewhat...

I agree with most of the comments. Greatt image that just needs a little "something" to make it shine.
