Ha - I've rewritten my comment here to accompany the image a few times because I guess there's a few ways to go in introducing this image and simultaneously perhaps nothing needed at all.
This is my son Josiah holding a Newfoundland puppy while acting as official puppy wrangler for a shoot I was doing this winter. It's not actually the "please can I have him?" story that may be implied, but it was awfully cute and I couldn't resist a quick shot while in between "models" in the sweet light ahead of me.
Not a lot done here in post...pretty much out of the camera and cropped slightly. Sorry, could not find my 1200px version after migrating to a new system this week but there is a (slightly) larger version available that definitely looks a bit better than the 720 here if you'd like to click through.
Thanks for any and all comments and suggestions!

Wonderful light and such a heart warming image.
I wonder how do you handle two cute subjects, simultaneously ?!?
Very high on cuteness scale and technically solid too. I love the warmth of low sun here.

this is a very sweet shot that draws the viewer in. Love the light and the expressions. The dog seems very expressive while your son is a bit pensive.
"Dad, how long to I have to hold him for this shot, my arms are getting tired?"
Congrats on the WP
