Ice Diamond
by Carey Closs
This was taken at Abraham lake a couple of weekends ago. I went there with the intention of capturing some images of the bubble patterns that form in the ice but the wind was so wicked that it was nearly impossible to keep my tripod steady. It was also unseasonably mild which created a fair bit of top water and changed the texture of the ice making it hard to find a spot to even get a handheld shot of the bubble formations so I ended up focusing my attention on the interesting patterns on the lake surface and around the shoreline.
Thanks for looking
