Canon EOS 7D 300 f/4 L IS USM

1/2000 f/4 ISO 100
02-09-2015 Port Aransas, TX

Pelicans (2) took turns diving off a UT Marines Science Laboratory Pier to catch fish and then fly back to perch every five minutes. Perfect spot to test my 300 f/4 L lens out for BIF. Focused on head so tips of wings are soft.

Nice capture with a nice background. It is sharp and the pelican;s wing position is nice. I am not a big fan of vignetting, but that is a personal issue. It also looks a bit over saturated to me..

Nice and sharp, good composition. The water appears a little over-saturated to me. Solid capture.

Water has same saturation as the subject. Shot in raw and added my standard Lr preset:
saturation=4 blacks=14 highlights= -19 sharpness =27 whites = 0

Things are just better in T E X A S !
