Please view larger photo, for some reason, the small versions on this site are terrible....

Dan: The larger version is indeed superior. Are you posting the large version and letting the site downsize the regular image? I do my own sizing for each image and have found little trouble beyond the extra time required. As for the shot itself, I love the colors and comp and the texture in the water especially. Nice capture of a special and unique moment. >=))>

Love the compression of the ocean that the tele provided. Pretty sweet layered sky and colors. Nice job, Dan. I reckon whale set-ups work for most anything.

The broad swatches of color make this a very inviting, semi-abstract, Dan. The larger version shows the details in the water very nicely.

A very fascinating mixture of colors and structures, I absolutely love these kind of photos.

Nice use of longer telephoto range to bring out the interesting cloud patterns. Pretty sweet color as well!

The layers of contrasting colors work for me. The only suggestion I would make would be to place the Sun a bit less off-center, I think that would give the composition more impact.

The large version looks much nicer Dan with great colors and I like the sun centered in the scene. Nice use of the long telephoto also. Very nice.
