Eyes of the King

This male lion has been at the Fort Worth zoo for as long as I can remember. Not sure how old he is but one thing for sure is that he is a regal beast. His eyes have always intrigued me. They are so beautiful, full of depth and texture. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice portrait of this old boy! Good detail and color. It seems like he has his attention on something behind or near you.
Thanks for sharing.

Real nice lion portrait. You captured a real human emotion look on his face, too. Very nicely done.
