WC #675 - Mouthful

This Western Meadowlark had a rather large mouthful of bugs as she shook off the dust on her feathers. This seemed like a good candidate for a center comp.

This one fits the center composition. I looked closely at the prey and there is a grasshopper, several wasps, and perhaps a spider. What a mouthful! Nice shot........................Jim

That's quite a catch, Kurt. A mouth full of bugs and still taking the time for a dust bath...pretty amazing. I agree that centering her in the frame works well here. In fact, I might even crop a bit off the top to increase the vertical centering.
