Good evening NPN,

It has been about a month since I have participated on the site, but I have been busy creating my website, and getting to learn my new Epson 3880 printer. Also, I have been planning a slew of trips this year and working on some part time business ideas for my photography. This is all really great stuff, but I need to make time for y'all too. :)

This image was such a JOY to capture on this stunning winter morning. All I could think of is how lucky I am to be alive and able to enjoy wonderful scenes like this one. I have been so fortunate in life, and this image reminds me of my purpose in life. Reminds me of how we all have our own very unique journeys to explore, and how wonderful every aspect is. The ups, downs, and in-betweens.

Please have a look at the larger version, and thanks you so much for any thoughts y'all may have.

I appreciate every comment whatever it may be

Nice gentle curves to go along with those mild colors. The illuminated fg rock provides a good center of interest. I like how the sun hits those clumps of snow on the frozen lake. Nice job.

A beautiful combination of soft colors! I like this one better than your previous shot with the same theme. Apart from a bit of clockwise rotation, I wouldn't change a thing, very nice!

Beautiful colors and a nice leading line to draw the eye into the image. The foreground rock adds some interest to the snow.

Ryan:

You have captured several quite nice images from you lake shore explorations. The pastel tones are quite delightful.

You will enjoy your Epson printer, I have used the 3800 fro quite a few years now with excellent results. The only downside.... ink pricing!

If only winter always looked so good... I don't normally associate winter with cotton candy pink!
Love the curves of the snow drifts around the rocks which are echoed in the curve of the bay.
