Welcome to the weekly challenge gallery, Paul. My reaction to the thumb was "Dragon Attack", but this is just as cool. The eyes are great and you've got good sharpness on the bird and it's perch. It's a neat catch on the bird taking off. Given the jesses (or that the singleton version a jess?), I'm wondering if this is a bird with falconry training or is it a rehab bird? Some information about the picture and equipment would also be good.

Hi Mark, thanks for your comments. The shot was Taken at O'Reilly's Rain Forest Retreat in the Lamington National Park, Gold Coast, Queensland.
My wife and I love the place and try to get there whenever we can. They have a variety of activities you can do when you stay there, including this one it's a birds of pray educational show, It's the only activity we've done there, we usually go there to go for a walk through all the rain forest tracks they have but we enjoyed the show and got some good shots
