Photogaphed this on a pier at Moss Landing. I cropped this about 75% just to focus on the sea lions which were napping. Comments always welcomed.

Hi Floyd! WONDERFUL tones and textures here. Just gorgeous tonality actually. I love all the closed eyes and varied expressions, including the inverted and upright heads. This is a very, very cool frame in my opinion. Maybe it's not for everyone (only explanation for the lower comments?) but it sure works for me!
The only possible suggestion I could come up with is I'd love to see a little detail (or at least tonal difference) in those eyes that are open...right now they are pretty much black. I don't know my sea lions very well so I could be making a "duh!" statement here (maybe their eyes ARE completely black?) but I'd still like to see some sense of shape and even subtle highlight somewhere to give them form. Just a very minute nit-picky suggestion, as I see a lot of potential in this one.
OK, maybe one more possible improvement would be a touch more space at the top both for the upright nose in the middle and the top of the head of the sea lion at the top right, but I suspect you chose this crop line because of elements you were trying to exclude, so you very likely already have the best overall solution without cloning work or the like. Anyway, I do think it would be stronger with a bit more margin at the top.

Agree with John fully. I like this a lot.
The golden tones framed by the darker brown is just lovely.
If posible a little lower angle might have given some additional contact with the fellows with their eyes open.
