A very interesting composition. The lights and the darks creates a mood that makes me think there's something lurking out there.

Alberto: I love the angle of the light here especially and all of the detail in the larger version. Your POV maintaining separation of the main subject and BG tree is a very nice touch. Superbly crafted image. >=))>

Alberto, a very moody take on this wonderful scene from CRNP. I've shot in this general area many times over the years and it seems endless for photo ops. This image is a unique look over most from this area. For that reason alone it got my attention. I could see this a bit lighter too, but no need to make a change except as an experiment for another look.

You controlled the harsh light very well here. I absolutely love how the tree stands out against such a dark background.

Alberto, I could stand to see it a bit brighter, but an excellent composition. I suspect my yen for lightness is just that, a personal yen. Good job!

The trees seem to glow in a silver light, even though the branches are still bare. Very striking effect against the darker background.

A scene marked by mood and a vivid sense of place, Alberto ! Superbly composed with such a full range of tones, highlighted for me by the light falling on the red rocks. My only nit is with the scattering of very bright highlights, which look like over-sharpening to my eye, but these detract very little from a fine image.

Great colors Alberto. Very rich and dark. The light is striking. I wish there was a little more room above the main tree. Well seen and taken.

The endless fight between lights and shades at its peak. Beautiful Alberto, very well deserved.
