my first ever sighting of a Saddle Billed Stork fishing, he just charged into the water stuck his head in and came up with this fish very little time from beginning to end. Taken from a drifting boat on the River Nile Uganda.

Nice one Ken. The colors on this guy just pop. The fish obviously adds interest. Perhaps a little less centered, and perhaps a little CW rotation, but otherwise very nice.

Wow, that's a strange looking bird, Ken, well captured. You could crop about half of the space on the left to move the bird off center without changing the story.

Beautiful & striking stork Ken, well composed slightly off-center left..
Like the setting and the 'fishing' action adds great overall interest :toast:

Super shot Ken, I would echo the comments about taking the Stork out of center a little.

Opening the larger version shows the fish quite nicely ! Love the overall image, the fish is a big bonus. As Jerry mentioned, slightly less centered could have added, but it's not awfully disturbing to me. Nice catch indeed :toast: , Hans

Nice capture of a very interesting bird. Great documentary shot as is. However, as others have mentioned, a slight clockwise rotation and crop (perhaps to 5x7 or even 4x5) to move the subject from center would make the composition more dynamic. The action with the fish makes this outstanding.

Very cool, Ken. The fish separates from the stork much better in the larger version. I wonder how it would work cropped to a vertical format?

I would definitely say nice catch, but not only for the bird. Very nice image Ken. Love the colors, POV and the fish is a huge bonus.
