Bontebok in the Flowers

Here's a shot from West Coast National Park in South Africa a couple of years ago. The flowers were in full bloom in the Potsberg section of the park and we found some nice birds and mammals to photograph amongst them, Bonteboks being one of them.

Excellent seasonal image. Only improvement would be if this were a Springbok.

Nate,
Africa's rarest antelope is a beautiful yet largely unknown animal, thank goodness it was saved,
Great image capturing its habitat perfectly :toast: :toast: :toast:

Hey Nate,

Very pretty scene with an uncommon subject - what more can you ask for? The range of colours supplied by the flowers is really nice.

Cheers...

Such a beautiful setting. The combination of green and purple caught my attention at first, and then I began to notice the yellows and oranges peeking through as well. Nice one, Nate.

This has all one could ask in layers, colored flowers in layers, an exotic subject well exposed and well posed. I appreciate the details of catch light, wisp of greenery in mouth, whites and shadows showing detail and rich over all color saturation.
