A couple of egret chicks just woke up and haven't had time to brush their hair!

A cool image with nice strong graphic elements, Loren. Maybe a touch more dof to bring the down on the left chick into crisp focus, but that's the only nit I can think of.

I really like the lighting and poses of the youngsters. The presence of the mom(?) in the background watching over her little ones certainly adds to this photo. Well done.

Excellent technical specs. and composition, Loren. I wouldn't say I agree entirely with the title - the impact of the stile is simply terrific. David

Nice close up shot of the chicks. The whites look good and the eyes are fairly sharp. Great capture.

They look incredibly funny. Despite the light and dark the image looks quiet balanced, well done ! Cheers, Hans

Talk about "punk" hairdos! Love all of that "electric" hair and the way the chicks stand out from the background. The leg in the background adds some surprise and interest. Sure has me grinning broadly.

Incredible image, Loren. Very memorable. Detail on the front chick is phenomenal and I like the addition of mom's leg. WOW.
