This female remained with us while we got thoroughly soaked in a typical Botswana thunderstorm, resulted in some soft light though

Hey Ken,

Simple but effective - would have known this was one of your shots even if posted anonymously. Feels like there's a bit of a yellow cast to the shot. If this were mine I'd selectively (and subtly) lift the contrast in a few areas on the cheetah's head and neck.

Ken: this is a classic cheetah pose with nothing in the background to interfere with an appreciation of the cat. I agree with Brad in that there's a bit of yellow cast overall. Richard

A real pleasing color combination here, Ken. I do see the yellowish caste, but I certainly don't mind it posted as-is.

Richard and Max , thanks very much, the yellow cast may have resulted from the sunset, but I admit it does look a little yellow.

Beatuiful portrait, Ken! Like the comp and wonderful quality to the eye. I do agree re a little heavy on the yellows or overall warmth, but it's not a deal-breaker here IMO. Had you not mentioned it, I'm embarrassed to say I did not immediately pick up on the fact she was wet! Really nice.

Love it.  Nicely composed.  The head turn and the complimentary background really make this image for me.  Dave
