A Touch of Yellow

Howard Cheek requested a Skylark in a tulip field. I went and looked, but alas, came home with a Wagtail, hope that's okay as well enlightened. And for those that deteste 'yellow' : sorry......

Nikon @ 700mm | 1/1600s | f8 | ISO280 | underexposed 2/3EV | handheld

Thanks for viewing and have a wonderful day crying

How cool is this!laugh Unique image Hans, the bird shares the frame with these tulips handsomely.

Excellent presentation, I have absolutely no problem with yellow BTWenlightened

Outstanding.

The field of tulips is a nice picture.  And then you gave it that narrow depth of field - added marvelous character.  And then you coaxed that bird to come and pose for you.  I'm blown away!

Well, Hans, you've done it again. Just when I think you can't produce anything better than your last, you drop something like this on us. I don't mean to take the easy way out, but "what everone else said" is probably about right. Stunner. #inspired sad

Great bird in an awesome setting, although the bird is not very big in the frame he is certainly a very strong part of the image.

Excellent Work Hans!

Hans: Not bad for a Flora image enlightened! Wonderful effect from the long lens narrow DOF. Congrats on the WP and a superb capture. >=))>

Hans,

CONGRATULATIONS on the EPA devil

I like that this type of image still has the power to be honored since I am observing more and more that it seems that only "action photos" is what is counting nowadays. For me this image is thru photgraphy art.
