The flowering trees are finally blooming here!  I was happy that I was able to position the camera to use the green grass for the background.

Canon 60D, f/11, 1/200, ISO400, 85mm focal length, Topaz Denoise on the bg.

Hi Barb,

The petals lit by the sun are nicely rendered in your image.  The light spot near the lower right corner tends to draw my eye.  Other than that minor nit, the flower is very nicecrying............................Jim

Beautiful bloom, I like this stage as it first begins to open Barb.

Well composed with nice light, detail/DOF, POV, and soft contrasting BG.

Great shot!devil

Barb: Good solid portrait. I would try to put a vignette to tone down the BG a bit but this is very nice as is. 2 thumbs up! >=))>

Very nice petals and colors Barb.  The flower is very pretty.  I think I might clean up some of the white spots on the grass in the BG.  Nicely done.

I agree with Nathan and Bill.  You may want to try using a black bg? I am a big believer in using such for flora portraits. All in all, nicely done.crying
