Very nice Peter. The techs on the bird are quite good. To bad there wasn't a little catch light in the eye and the rusty screw and metal bracket are somewhat distracting. devil

Nice detail in the plumage, Peter, and I like the unusual head turn.  Though a catchlight is always nice, the pensive look here works well without it.  Sweet bg.  I think you could boost the asturatoin on the bird a bit without making it look unnatural.

Awwww! cool Love the species, and you captured a wonderful pose and expression here. If I had to find an area for possible improvement I think the eye could use just a LITTLE brightening/dodging. However, I'm viewing this on my laptop while camping in the mountains, and the display on this screen is not ideal to say the least, so take that with a grain of salt!

Nice detail and color in your subject.  Wish for a more natural perch.  A little fill flash might have worked well here.
