I went down to Ohio to bird the Lake Erie shoreline again. It was amazing with lots of optimal looks and many birds posing at eye-level. I found this Eastern kingbird perched on a willow over one of the canals in the Ottawa National Wildlife refuge. I adjusted the exposure up 1 stop, cropped for comp, reduced noise, and sharpened the image (K5 IIs, 300mm f4 1/1250 sec at f8.0, ISo 320). This was the best one in the series as the bird turned its head toward me as my car approached the perch...............Jim

1 commentsSuperb job on the exposure, Jim. I like the composition and the reflected vegetation at the top of the frame.
