Although somber in color, I like vireos and this shot which has a warbling vireo capturing a small insect from the grape vine. K5 IIs, 300mm f4 (1/640sec at f6.3, ISO 800), Levels, noise reduction, crop for comp..................................Jim

Excellent detail in the LP, love the pose & POV Jim.
The tiny seed-n-beak makes the shot for me. Haven't seen one of these in a good while..
Have a great weekend!
Very nice. Somehow for me this has a feel of an oriental water color, lots of open space, and muted colors. Vireo's being little caterpillar hawks, I'm guessing it's a little caterpillar in its beak. I tried zooming in but couldn't make it out for sure, but being on a grape vine with that little dead sprout next to it, it's probably the bug that killed that little sprout. Very nice catch.
Cool species, well captured. Interesting composition, but it works IMO. Nice soft light.
nice pose and setting and muted colors; the insect is a nice touch. I agree with Scott about trying this as a vertical, as the space on the right doesn't add much for me.
I like the soft bg and the young leaves, Jim. Detail in the Vireo is wonderful as is the bug. The oof branches in the bg are a small distraction, but not significant for me.
